Step inside this 25,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility—completed in 2021 to honor Naval Academy sports history—and experience one of the most dynamic spots in Annapolis. From the moment you enter under the “Top Gun” scaled replica of an F/A-18 Hornet to the time you experience the “Leaders Circle” exhibit, you’ll trace the paths of amazing USNA athletes who succeeded on the Yard and beyond. 1984 Team Meeting Room: It seats up to 100 banquet or reception-style in a classroom setting that can be converted to round table seating. Small reunions, team dinners, NAAA events, and athletic events often use this space.
Gurneé Executive Conference Room: A premium 16-seat space with an expansive water view, it features a large conference table and hosts alumni and donor events, as well as sports recruitment programs.
Exhibit Area: An open, dramatic, and interactive space for 150 banquet or 400 reception guests. It includes a balcony and the moving “Leaders Circle” exhibit, Heisman Trophy exhibit, and other special celebrations of the Physical Mission. With a sweeping view of the Annapolis Harbor, this area is a motivating space for your corporate group, alumni reunion events, sports enthusiast events, local school events, cocktail receptions, and more.
Akerson Theater: With an immersive 180-degree IMAX theater with state-of-the-art surround sound, it also features live Harbor webcam views and inspirational Navy Athletics videos. The theater plays host to corporate and high school groups, as well as any other organizations looking to be moved by the Academy’s enduring commitment to their Physical Mission.
